It's island time again, y'all! Every year we venture to Key West, Florida to give you day to day updates on the happenings of America's favorite festival (it's true! Look it up!) No need to fret about the FOMO if the nationwide ice storm cancelled your plane tickets, we're here to give you all the Mile 0 Fest deets you missed.

Christening the 2026 festival was an unexpected event that truly set the tone for this week: the marriage of Uncle Bekah & her beau Robert on Duval Street. Dressed in his best priest attire, Cody Canada officiated the ceremony as bubble guns shot iridescent spheres around the beaming couple & a witnessing crowd erupted in congratulations. And like a good politician, her team started pedaling "Uncle Bekah for Mayor" trucker hats immediately after the nuptials. There is no doubt that Uncle Bekah's Inappropriate Trucker Hats has solidified it's spot as a foundation pillar of this festival.

Taking over the Duval Street Block party, Shelby Stone burned the stage DOOOOOWN. Between her usual star studded band featuring known names like Dalton Domino & Ben Hussey, Cody & Dierks Canada traded off lead & rhythm electric guitar. Elle of Waves in April came out for some keys while Graycie York & Josh Weathers joined for a song or two of Stone's set. But make no mistake, Stone is a bonafide rock'n'roll performer all on her own, following Joan Jett's lead. She's got cheerleader spunk hidden behind the blue hair & "f u" tattoos making it impossible to look away as she belts. Stone's vocals are crisp, beautifully violent, & can only be described as a power house sound.

Josh Weathers followed in a complete 180 with a solo acoustic set. Much like many of the acts this year, Weathers band didn't make it to the Keys due to cancelled flights from the weather. However, the man can truly do anything with a loop pedal & a kick drum. He covered all your country favorites from "Fishin' in the Dark" to his own singles like "Who's Hanging the Moon." If there is any artist on this island that can hold his own after a banging rock'n'roll band, it's Weathers God given vocals & personality.

Making their DEMANDED return to Mile 0 Fest after last year's hiatus, Silverada came full force to the stage. They're known for their high energy honky tonkin' & wild stage experiences. At one point, two beautiful red parrots took perch on both of Mike Harmier's arms. Was he frightened by the birds? Maybe. However, fear will never stop the lead man from causing a scene. Silverada performed new songs (keep an eye out in a week or so for a new release) while bass player Omar head banged his signature head of curls to the raging crowd.
Cross Canadian Ragweed finished off the main stage, jam packing Duval with body to body CCR fans. In true Canada fashion, all the heavy hitting friends joined the hour & a half set. Jamie Lin Wilson sang on "17" & Graycie York backed up "Sick & Tired" while several other artists found their additions to all your favorite tunes.

Almost instantly as the street stage shut down, the crowd parted between Irish Kevin's & Durty Harry's for the after shows. Ellis Bullard finally arrived on the Keys after an internet miracle, drawing the rowdy crowd ready to continue the Duval debauchery. Jamie Lin rocked her girl gang trio at Irish Kevin's with besties Courtney Patton & Heather Stalling. Their three part harmonies filled the uncomfortably full room with a calming sound while Heather's fiddle felt right at home in the Irish bar.
Josh Weathers & friends took over Shiny Ribs set since the sparkle suit was another casualty of the weather & Stoney LaRue made his way back to his honorary Jameson stage.

Official day one of Mile 0 Fest 2026 was a massive success with the return of the Duval block party. We can't wait to share what day two brings, but it's starting with a sprinkle so fingers crossed for better weather!!!
